Adam, yes I understand and I am not here to beat up Mac users. I have tried exhausting attempts at humorous ways of getting people to pay attention to your very clear statement that the reason the synth isn’t available on Mac is because Synthmaker doesn’t support it. The guys at Synthmaker have said Mac support is not planned and they would prefer not to be pestered with questions. So, every time someone clutters this space with another “Mac version please” comment it simply indicates they are unwilling to read, thus is just littering up the comment space. My suggestion would be to simply moderate comments, and delete those who whine about a Mac version. Clearly they have not spent 5 minutes researching why it doesn’t exist, therefore should not be entitled to 5 minutes of anyone else’s time (or the priviledge of posting).

Guys please
I want to make it clear that there isnt a mac version because I cant program for mac its because SynthMaker only exports the synth as PC vst format. If it would export to Mac I would do that too but it does not. So its not up to me. To make everyone feel better, I cannot program vsts for Mac or PC, so its not about my knowledge for a specific format. Thats why I used SynthMaker because I can concentrate on programming the synth rather than doing technical C++ stuff.

I do not want to spend additional time with this nonsense but I am compelled to do so, since you did not understand – and I am not surprised at all – that many of these posts are intended to encourage the programmer (I mean those that I’ve read). Some of my, instead, justify the programmer for its likely gaps in Mac programming. But this, most likely, a ‘cultured’, ‘learned’ like you can not understand it.

P.S.: Many guys ask software for Mac or PC – although sometimes screaming – just for fun. Internet is not the university but a fun place where to be.

Anyone who insists on nagging the author for a Mac version despite the fact that the reason for no Mac first is right there in their face has a literacy problem at best (I’m giving benefit of the doubt that more severe cognitive issues don’t exist). Considered asking for a refund for all the degrees?

You will be illiterate (I have two degrees) and, because you are, follow a good advice, sell the Mac (I am sure that is a gift from people much smarter than you) and bought a PC (which is all you need).
But be happy my friend, because everyone will find what in the world deserves and you shall make no exception.

I am actually embarassed to admit I own a Mac, write iOS apps as part of my daily routine, and occasionally use Logic Pro. This is because the Mac users here have demonstrated themselves to be the most clueless, illiterate group of folks on the planet. Really explains why all the good musical innovation still happens on Windows.
